Rational Refugees from Religious Relatives Relax, Relate, and Regroup 2017

At the RRRRRRReason Center, of course. We need at least four RSVPs by 10 p.m., Dec. 24, to have this gathering. If the holiday hectors you, if religious relatives will drive you half mad, take your sweet self and a friend or two (or more) to the Reason Center to relax with your fellow refugees. Our sound system will play non-holiday music as we share snacks, stories, and true camaraderie. We'll use the gentler lights, not the harsh fluorescents, so it'll feel cozy.

This will be extra informal: no official-sounding introduction or closing, just a seamless segue from real life to this relaxing gathering. Bring friends, goodies, games, your favorite CD of secular music... If you want to bring a movie, do. Bring whatever party-ish leftovers you have so we can all absorb bizarre-looking comestibles. Does anyone have a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

We don't have to change much about the holiday--just keep what we like and ignore the rest. You know, just like everyone else does anyway!
