We'll be discussing The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark by Carl Sagan (nonfiction - science):

Carl Sagan muses on the current state of scientific thought, which offers him marvelous opportunities to entertain us with his own childhood experiences, the newspaper morgues, UFO stories, and the assorted flotsam and jetsam of pseudoscience. Along the way he debunks alien abduction, faith-healing, and channeling; refutes the arguments that science destroys spirituality, and provides a "baloney detection kit" for thinking through political, social, religious, and other issues.

About the Venue
The Coffee Garden (http://www.thecoffeegarden.com/) is a little coffee shop just off Broadway and 99. If the weather's nice, we're probably in the big table in the garden through the back door. Otherwise we're in the separate room off to the left when you come in the front door.

They serve all sorts of coffees and drinks, sodas, and a wide variety of sandwiches and salads perfect for dinner if you choose. They appreciate it if you at least buy a drink/pastry.

Please be courteous and do not bring outside food or drinks.
