Details
Besides discussing this month's book, pay attention!
It's that time of the year again!
During our book club's October meeting we get to choose the books that we'll be reading next year.
If you have any suggestions, please share them, and come to the meeting (anyone who comes gets to vote!)
If you have no ideas but want to join book club next year, come anyway, we've curated a list with a bunch of books to give you some ideas:

We'll be discussing: The God Virus: How Religion Infects Our Lives and Culture by Darrel W. Ray
What makes religion so powerful? How does it weave its way into our political system? Why do people believe and follow obvious religious charlatans? What makes people profess deep faith even as they act in ways that betray that faith? What makes people blind to the irrationalities of their religion yet clearly see those of others? If these questions interest you, this book will give you the tools to understand religion and its power in you, your family and your culture.
PAGES: 241
Come with a few thoughts/ideas about the book to discuss!
About the Venue
For this month's book club we'll be hosting it at the Sacramento Reason Center (http://www.reasoncenter.org/). A price of $1.00 per person is strongly suggested (but don't let the high price discourage you from attending, we'll figure out how to pay for everyone attending)
