What we’re about
ODSC brings together the open source and data science communities with the goal of helping its members learn, connect and grow.
The focus of this Meetup group is to allow ODSC to work with Meetup groups, non-profits, and other organizations to present informative lectures, workshops, code sprints and networking events to help grow the use of open source languages and tools within the data science and data-centric community. As such, our specific goals are:
1. Build a collaborative group to work with other Meetup groups, non-profits, and other organizations.
2. Promote the use of open source languages and tools amongst data scientists and others.
3. Host educational workshops.
4. Spread awareness of new open source languages and tools that can be used in data science.
5. Contribute back to the open source community.
Who is this meetup for?
• Data engineers, analysts, scientists, and other practitioners
• R, Python and other software engineers who work with data or want to learn
• Data visualization developers and designers
• Non-technical team leads, executives, and other decision makers from data centric startups and large companies looking to utilize open source tools

See all- Gen AI, AI Agents, and AGI - How New Advancements in AI Will Improve the ProductLink visible for attendees
It is PAID event. You may access training with paid subscription to Ai+ training platform or purchase access to this specific session. More details are here - https://hubs.li/Q02Ffl8V0
This session is tailored for professionals seeking to master the fundamentals of generative AI. Our training covers a comprehensive range of topics, from the basics of text generation using advanced language models to the intricacies of image and 3-D object generation. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools, empowering them to become ten times more productive in their roles.
A key component of our training is the exploration of autonomous agents. Participants will learn not only how these agents perform various tasks autonomously but also how to build one from the ground up. This segment paves the way to understanding the trajectory towards artificial general intelligence (AGI), a frontier in AI research.
This session does not require prior experience in AI, making it accessible to a broad audience. However, it promises maximum knowledge gain, equipping attendees with practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to apply these insights directly to their roles, enhancing their contribution to the AI domain and their respective industries. It will be a comprehensive learning experience, ensuring attendees leave with a profound understanding of generative AI and its applications.
