This group is for people who want to make their health and well-being a priority. I created this group to help people have a place to go (and people to be with) to learn and engage in healthy behavior. Join this group if you have an interest in Gluten free cooking, Mindful eating, Nutrition, Yoga, Hiking, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Meditation. We will have a monthly activity focused on 1) Eating 2) Movement 0r 3)Stress Resilience.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

We are experiencing uncertainty all around the globe. The uncertainty and lack of control can increase our stress response adding more cortisol and adrenaline into our immune system suppressing our immune system and leading to mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. We can do something about it. Mindfulness is an excellent practice to learn to appreciate the moments, to get out of the fight or flight brain, and be able to reduce and be resilient to stress.
