We host fun and practical astronomy and space-science events. No previous experience or knowledge in the industry or science is needed to attend. Only passions for innovation and space exploration!

This is a group created by Space enthusiasts for Space enthusiasts. We welcome anyone interested in:

We want to meet like-minded people interested in joining a strong community around Space Exploration, exchanging ideas, learning from each other, and spreading the word. We aim to organize meetings on regular basis covering various topics and guest speakers.

Every year, Leiden University, through the student organization of the astronomy department, Leidsch Astronomisch Dispuut ‘F. Kaiser’, organizes the Spring Lectures - a series of four lectures covering different aspects of a theme in space exploration and astronomy. The theme for this year is "Terug naar de Maan!", or "Return to the moon!" The fourth and final lecture is titled "The Once and Future Moon?" and will be given by James Carpenter (ESA-ESTEC). This lecture will be in English. We will attend the lecture together, after which you have the opportunity to take a guided tour of Leiden Observatory.
