What we're about

Do you want to live a more fulfilling life? Great – you’ve come to the right place!

We set up this group to create the space where we get to, through various activities, continually learn more about ourselves, and learn new things that allow us to elevate and grow.

We focus on 4 core areas/capacities of life:

- Spiritual – it’s about focusing on getting to know yourself and clarifying your values and desires, but also about learning about other people’s ways of thinking and seeing the world. (Examples: meditation, talks by people adhering to specific spiritual/religious schools of thought, forest bathing, etc.),

- Intellectual – it’s about stimulating your brain and elevating the way you see the world (Examples: book clubs, TED talks discussions, film club, board games, etc.),

- Physical – it’s about your physical health and well-being (Examples: yoga, volleyball, tennis, hiking, cooking classes, etc.),

- Emotional & mental – it’s about focusing on the ability to deal with challenges and getting the most out of your relationships (Examples: discussion groups, role play games, etc.).

These 4 areas can be visualised as a ball divided into 4 chambers, each filled with air. The more air you pump into each chamber, the more momentum the ball will have as it moves. BUT there’s a catch: if you’re not filling each chamber with the same amount of air, the ball will start to wobble and go off track. The same is with the life capacities. All four need to be BALANCED. This means developing them simultaneously with equal care and attention. All four are also mutually reinforcing – for example, by improving your physical well-being and harmony you also improve your emotional and mental health.

We will be organising various activities and events that will help us achieve the balanced and good life with the 4 capacities in mind and as a guiding tool.

Lastly, this is just a vision I have for this community but I hope that it will grow and develop organically and everyone’s welcome to voice their ideas so if you have any suggestions for any events/lectures/activities, please reach out to me so that we could discuss it and make it happen.

In this medium-paced Vinyasa Flow yoga class there is a balance between effort and relaxation with variations of poses for yogis of all levels, including beginners. Be prepared to break some sweat 😓.

In every class you will have a chance to focus on your breathing (pranayama), body movement (asana) and relaxation (meditation and Savasana).

Please arrive on time (17:55) and once you get to Oh Boy Hotel, we’ll take a lift to the top floor, Orangerie.

Please bring your yoga mat.

PRICE:
The class is offered for a suggested donation of 50 - 100 sek per class.

Who’s up for a morning swim?
The water is finally warm enough to have a proper swim, how exciting!

Please join us on the Scaniabadet decks for a swim.
Bathrobe attire is all year round in😉, however, bring some warmer clothes to put on after the swim☺️

After the swim, we’ll stay at Scaniabadet and have a little fika on the decks so please bring your coffee/tea and maybe a cinnamon bun or anything else you fancy with you😋
