The Tucson Japanese Language and Culture Meetup is currently 'Paused'. お休みしています。
If you are interested in organizing an event for this group please contact the organizer. We'd love to get the group started again. Ideally we would like multiple organizers with varied interests organizing a number of language and culture related activities.
We would like to attract a nice mix of culture enthusiasts, language learners, and native speakers. Hosting ideas include language learning, viewing Japanese drama series, socials with Japanese food potlucks, going out for sushi or other Japanese cuisine, karaoke, making Japanese food such as natto, takoyaki, o-konomiyaki, or mochituki, celebrating Japanese traditions such as Obon or Kouyou (fall color viewing), watching sumo tournaments, or whatever our organizers are interested in!
