Let's go with the flow and spend four days sightseeing and walking by some truly beautiful rivers and lakes in Moravia within Czech Republic often referred to as Czechia!
We shall be staying in Brno which is a really wonderful destination full of fabulous architecture, statues and quirky sculptures plus much culture and many bars and restaurants.
If you wish you may choose to travel a day or two early or later and combine a visit to Prague or Vienna.
Please book accommodation for four nights in Brno within easy reach of the train station and also book suggested flights now available :

There is also an outbound flight on Thursday 16th April if you wish to arrive early.

All walks likely to be between 7 and 10 miles in length and travel is by local bus or train.

Meet 12.45pm Mendel Square for bus 52 at 1.20pm to Pristaviste.
Depending on ferry timetable and availability we shall either :
take ferry to Viveri Castle
followed by walk by lake and river to Brno zoo
Bus back to Brno
Or
walk around the lake to Viveri Castle and then take a bus back to Brno

River Svratka 13 kilometres walk to Borac via Doubravnik
Buses back S31 & S3 at either 4.14pm or at 5.14pm
Tuesday morning
Spilberk Castle followed by Cathedral of St Peter and Paul

Villa Tugendhat
Or
Moravia Karst Caves visit
Meetup fee £40 payable in advance by bank transfer ( season ticket holders : £30 ).
Meetup fees to be paid by end of March.
You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
Walking and hiking in the Great Outdoors presents certain low level risks and by rsvping to this trip you agree to undertake such risks.
You must stay with the group at all times during the walk as it puts too much pressure on the group if people wander off.
If you make arrangements with others for restaurants or taxis you should honour it.
