Poor Steven and all the organisers who put in all the time and effort to ensure that people have a good time walking by the sea,near the, lakes on the beach enjoying the fresh air. I feel your pain. I belong to quite a few Meet Ups but I've never seen so much DRAMA in other groups as happens here. Recently, there was a long email trail about someone wanting to stop to use the bathroom. It went on and on for days. Now again, yet more drama. Has anyone stopped to think about the people who give so much of their time to make this group a success? No, it's always 'me,'me and 'me. Is this group some kind of  '"Social Care" group where everyone can come and vent???? I run a couple of small MeetUps and I can tell you, it's bloody hard work and I do it for the love of it. Quite frankly, it I had to put up with this kind of drama in my group, I'd shut the bloody thing down a long time ago. This isn't a childrens' playground, IT IS TIME TO GROW UP. PATHETIC!

Maureen is very seriously ill in hospital with a tumour in the brain. She is having an operation this morning to ascertain if it is benign or malignant. Please remember her in your prayers.

Surely there comes a responsibility with running a group for the members of the group.

We joined Walks by Water to get healthier in what we thought was a 'safe' group, a group which 'welcomed' people of all fitness levels  . I was introduced to this group by Maureen who could not speak more highly and enthusiastically of Walks by Water and at first it was great but sadly it has changed recently to a 'click' , perhaps it should be called 'sprinting' by water with the proviso that actually you will be on your own even though it is a 'group walk' but reality is different.

Maureen wanted to say a heartfelt thanks to Dorota for being an excellent back marker and just nice human being.

Treat those as you expect to be treated.
