Directions From the intersection of 117 and 448: - Head south on NY[masked] mi - Turn right onto Old Sleepy Hollow Rd/Sleepy Hollow Rd, continue to follow Old Sleepy Hollow Rd 1.7 mi - Slight left onto Sleepy Hollow Rd. Continue 0.4 mi. From Route 9 (Broadway) in Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow: - Head north on Broadway toward Bedford Rd (Route 448) - Turn right onto Bedford Road, continue 0.4 mi - Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Rd, continue 1.3 mi From Route 9 (Broadway) in Ossining or points north: - Head south on Broadway toward Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Immediate past the club's south gate, turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Rd, continue 1.3 mi - Turn right onto Old Sleepy Hollow Rd Exd, continue 1.0 mi Parking There are several parking areas along Sleepy Hollow Road so be sure you're at the right one. It's a large parking area with room for many cars on both sides of the road. Here's what it looks like from the south: Pull your vehicle entirely onto the shoulder. Your tires should not touch the painted line or the road surface. Description Fast pace hike. Will do 2 hours and 6 to 8 miles. There are early outs. Terrain: Easy to moderate, mainly rolling hills. Distance: - 6 - 8 miles and more if ample opportunities to cut out. Pace: Brisk. This is not a beginner hike, and nobody gets left behind. We tend to walk at a brisk pace and hardly stop. Please assess your ability to keep this pace before signing up.If not sure come and take the early out. Cancellation notices: I will not cancel. Hike will adjust to conditions such as rain, snow. Pets: Friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome. The park requires dogs to be leashed at all times. It is possible that we will encounter one or more horses with riders or carriages. They sometimes worry about dogs.
