This event is for people who would like to learn more about and are interested in breathing, mediation, and the Wim Hof Method and the power that comes with combined breathing, mindset, and cold exposure. My name is Ken O'Shea and I am a local entrepreneur. Mediation and Wim Hof have been a life saver as a business owner. There are lots up and downs that come with running a business and being a entrepreneur Wim Hof and Mediation helps you learn to weather the storm that is happening in your mind. If you are looking for a new way to deal with the ups and down of life come join me and breath your way to better health! One of my goals is to build a community of people that are dedicated to improving our greater, local community and home, Sacramento! Coming together to breathe I believe is a good way to develop this community so that we can all be the change we want to see in the world and our home Sacramento! I invite the Greater Sacramento community to join me for an introduction and or continued journey in the Wim Hof Method. I am Chuck McGee III and I am a certified WHM instructor and have studied the method with Wim Hof. I am passionate about teaching, instructing and of course practicing the method myself.

For those of you of you who are new, the WHM is built on three pillars: cold therapy, breathing and mindset/focus. What that means is that through commitment and patience towards practicing cold exposure and specialized breathing techniques you will change your mind and body in ways that will amaze you! This meetup group is to bring together anyone interested in practicing or learning more about the Wim Hof Method. We will offer introductory events, day-long events where you can go more in depth and longer adventures as well!

In these events we will be exploring the WHM breathing, the mindset & focus and of course finish with a cold exposure in the elements. My hope is that everyone who joins the group will be able to develop a clear understanding of how the WHM breathing, mindset, focus and cold all integrate to allow practitioners to develop greater control over their health and well-being.

Our first event will be happening in early January 2018! Can't wait to see you there.

About Chuck McGee III

As a Type 1 Diabetic, I have a unique perspective on health. For two years I have been practicing the method, including direct instruction from Wim Hof. I have helped lead expeditions up mountains in the winter in Poland and swam in freezing lakes worldwide. I even built a custom cold tub at my house so that I can take ice baths every day.

The WHM has given me a stronger grasp of my health than anything else I have discovered. All people are equally deserving of the benefits the WHM could bring. It is my goal to connect to as many people as possible and be a part of the wave of social change that the WHM can help us achieve. My belief in the benefits of the WHM is palpable and my drive to spread this information to others is relentless.

I am willing to teach private events at any location on the planet. If you have the group, I will be there.
