WE Workshops with International guest Adam Husler
Get ready for an insightful weekend as we're welcoming international guest teacher Adam Husler back to Bubble Yoga!
Adam is the embodiment of a teacher who is serious about the practice & study of yoga, but does not take himself seriously. If you've ever engaged with his social media content, you'll know what we mean! But beyond the humorous yoga videos there's a highly experienced teacher who has been sharing his enthusiasm for yoga & anatomy for over 10 years with practitioners & teachers around the globe.
>> This weekend of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is tailored to yoga teachers wanting to refine their practice, skills and teaching, but is also open to any dedicated practitioner curious to learn more! You can book each day separately or join us for the full weekend programme.
// SATURDAY - From Passive Flexibility to Functional Asana
For years, yoga in the West has often been portrayed as primarily a flexibility practice, with a sprinkle of spirituality for good measure. But are we striving for extreme flexibility and passive range of motion? And if we are —is that actually serving our bodies in the long run?
Maybe it’s time to reframe yoga as a practice of balance. Physically speaking, sure, many people do need to work on improving their flexibility to create harmony in their bodies. But just as often, yogis need to develop more strength and stability to support their long-term health and well-being.
In this workshop, we’ll dive into:
- The science of mobility & flexibility
- The importance of exploring active range before moving into passive range.
- Mobility drills to create ‘bulletproof’ yogis
- How to ensure your yoga sequences help build stronger yogis who have control of their body in space
Ultimately, this is about equipping both you and your students with the tools to create balanced, resilient, and injury-free bodies for the long haul. Because yoga isn’t just about getting your leg behind your head—it’s about finding strength, stability, and sustainable practices for life.
// SUNDAY - Refining Sequencing Method
Asana is just one piece of the yoga puzzle — but if we’re the ones guiding students through it, we have a responsibility to do it well. That means teaching asana in a way that’s informed, intentional, and genuinely supports students in building skill, awareness, flexibility, and strength.
This training is all about sharpening your ability to craft sequences that make sense, feel good in bodies long after class ends, and help your students progress in ways they can actually feel — both on and off the mat.
We’ll kick off the day with a full practice to get grounded in our own bodies before diving into a mix of theory, practical exploration, and group discussion. Together, we’ll cover:
- Sequencing frameworks that allow longterm development — including a versatile arc model you can apply to almost any class style.
- The art of holding space — because sequencing is only part of the equation. How you guide, pace, and respond to the room is just as important.
- Asana deconstruction and intentional cueing — so every pose (and its variations) actively supports the overall purpose and flow of your class.
- Classroom realities — from working with mixed-level groups to adjusting on the fly when your plan meets real humans, we’ll look at how sequencing and teaching methods need to flex in real time.
This isn’t about rigid formulas — it’s about giving you the tools and confidence to create experiences that are clear, impactful, and supportive of your students’ growth, class after class.
