What we’re about
Accessible Gaming will encompass meetings, Zoom calls, presentations, and other events. Gamers, game developers, and students studying game design are the target audience. Once the group builds up an audience we'll start inviting special guests.
The following page of references about accessible gaming gets periodic updates:

The purpose of the Accessible Gaming group here on Meetup is to influence game design in the early stages. That means connecting game designers and gamers.
In-person events will take place in and around Boston, Massachusetts. There will also be Zoom calls you can join remotely. And maybe one day we'll have events in other locations.
It will likely take a few attempts to get appropriate accessibility tools in place for meetings.
NOTE: If you want to find playtesters for your game, be prepared to compensate those gamers at a reasonable hourly rate. Treat gamers as experts you are hiring. Don't join the group with the thought that you'll get "free" playtesting.
