Metal Lathe Class – Pilot Class
Details
This class will cover the basics of manual metal lathe to create axially-symmetric parts such as shafts, screws, rings, and more! Each student will be given a part to fabricate, and will learn about the three and four jaw chuck, live centers, turning, facing, boring, threading, and parting.
Participants can take their piece with them and finish fabricating it in the shop at a later time.
This session is being offered as a pilot class, giving Ace the opportunity to test and refine the course before adding it to the regular class schedule. Because this is a pilot offering, registration is available at a discounted rate.
Come ready to learn, ask questions, and help us shape the future version of this class!
