Oakland Pride Hangout: Watch the Parade with Us

Join us for a casual hangout at the Oakland Pride Parade and festival!
The parade runs down Grand Avenue and Broadway from 10:30am to 12:00pm and is completely free to watch. We're planning to meet near Broadway and 16th street to watch - look for our group with ace and/or aro flags!
Note that several streets will be closed for the parade and festival, so allow extra time; taking transit will likely be easier than driving and trying to find parking.
Optionally, for those who would like to check out the festival at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza afterwards, a few of us will probably be heading over there at around noon; after the parade ends. Festival admission is ~$23 and you can purchase tickets online or onsite.
Per the event organizers, the following are not allowed at the parade or festival:
- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal substances
- Outside alcohol
- Drones or unauthorized aerial devices
- Fireworks or explosives
- Large unapproved structures or signage
