Fun in Colorado

Welcome to Wandering Hippies! A group where “All who wander are not lost!”

My name is Chris Bradshaw and in 2012 I was diagnosed with a rare eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa or RP that radically changed how I viewed the world. Life is to experience and not to be observed.

My goal is to experience enough of life before I’m not able to physically see anymore. I live and work in Lakewood, Colorado and enjoy most weekends in the mountains camping, hiking, SUP, kayaking, snowshoeing and snowboarding. Sometimes snowshoeing up and snowboarding down. I always camp where there’s enough space for larger groups.

I recently had to stop driving so our carpool meeting places will mainly consist of light rail stations.

Most of the activities for this group will be in Colorado. I have been known to go, and will go again, to New Mexico, Utah and Arizona for fun as well. I’m not a professional at any of the things I do but I do educate myself before attempting anything new and I encourage you to do the same.
