The Adventures Unlimited's Get-Ready-For-Mountains (GRFM) training programme is a specially-designed circuit to reinvigorate the body and mind of hikers. This is to help build fitness in a disciplined way so that our participants will be adequately prepared for local & overseas hikes.
Join me for a fun Steps & Strength training at Fort Canning!
Meeting Place: as seen in the image
Right next to Old Hill Street Police Station; opposite Funan
Accessible via different MRT lines and bus stops
3 min walk from Clarke Quay Stn Exit E
Duration: 8am-10am
Level: Moderate
What to expect:
- Warm-up & dynamic stretching
- Steps Training - up to 8 different sets of stairs around Fort Canning (we will be doing a full clockwise loop of Fort Canning!)
- Interactive workout/games (targeting core and balance)
- Exercises to target specific muscle groups for hikers
- Cool Down - stretching and quad workout

Items to bring/wear
- comfortable sports attire and running shoes
- Towel and water bottle if required
- Most of us will be carrying our bags as part of hike training (you can choose to leave them in your car if you’re driving or bring a small bag)
Note:
- In the event of wet weather, the event will be cancelled. However, if it is just a light drizzle, we may still proceed with caution.
- Any no-shows will be recorded on your meetup profile. If you will be late or unable to make it, please inform me in advance (WA 97318648) or update your RSVP by 8 p.m. the night before.
- The 'Waitlist' may not go in order as we reserve the right to prioritise the spots for our trip participants.
