Puncak Gunung Nuang borders the States of Selangor and Pahang and is close to the three border points of Pahang-Selangor-Negeri Sembilan.
The mountain itself is the 2nd highest mountain in Selangor with a height of 1,493 meters and is part of the Titiwangsa Mountains after gunung Semangkok 1,824 m.

The Gunung Nuang hike will begin with approximately 5 kilometers of flat, endless road before ascending after the waterfall.
