Village Evening Walk: Katong Park - Downtown

Let's walk together on Saturday evening while catching the sunset!
Come spend an evening with the Villagers as we stroll enjoying each other company and checking out the photo stops in between.

Date: 23 September 2023 (Saturday)
Meeting place: Katong Park MRT Station (TE24) Exit 1 (Street level)
Starting time: 5pm
End time: 8:30pm (estimated)

Target Ending location: Fort Canning MRT station / Great World MRT Station
Route via East Coast Park, Garden by the Bay East, Singapore River.

Estimated walking distance: 12 - 14 km

Item to bring:
- Water
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sunblock / Sunglasses / cap / hat
- Umbrella/ponchos (in case it rains)
- Light refreshments/food

If you are beginner and training for overseas hiking, please carry a day bag with at least 3 to 5kg.

Additional notes:

1. We will be walking at a moderate pace. Do join us if you are of good physical condition.
2. Participants can drop out anytime during the walk, but do inform the event hosts.
3. Due to crowd control and attendance taking, the host may not be able to respond to meetup msgs or your sms/whatsapp during the event.
4. Advisable to bring some energy food, snacks bar along the way.
