### Expect to be immersed in lush rainforest air at Gunung Pulai, where vibrant green dipterocarp trees create a serene canopy alive with birdsong, butterflies, and occasional monkeys or squirrels. A highlight is the peaceful multi-tiered Pulai Waterfall—a perfect spot for a cooling dip, so don’t forget your swimsuit, and please pack out all the trash. Though access to the summit is restricted due to communication towers, several nearby ridgeline viewpoints reward hikers with sweeping panoramas of Johor’s forested hills and plantation landscapes. This trek strikes the ideal balance: approachable yet invigorating for active walkers, with beautiful nature scenes, refreshing waterfall moments, and photo-ready vistas—all in a compact, half-day format from Singapore.
