Attendance policies:
a) Three (3) no-shows without updating your RSVP (for standard meetups) and you will be banned from this meetup.
b) For any meetups in which food has been pre-ordered family-style, any no-shows may result in an immediate ban.
c) If you've RSVP'ed "YES" and changed your RSVP to "NO" within 3 hours before the event starts (Unless you have a REAL emergency), I will consider you as a "no-show".
If you are an adventurous eater, this is the Meetup for you. We are looking for unusual dining experiences: the more unusual, the better. Have you ever tried to gross someone out by describing your culinary adventures? What have you tried that most people won't eat? Tell us about it!
This is a Meetup to explore real but unusual foods, not dares. Postings will be moderated and inapproriate comments designed to rile people up will be removed.
Due to the unusual nature of our dining focus, it may be necessary to cancel a scheduled Meetup if the number of RSVPs falls below 3.
Much as it pains us, we reserve the right to revoke the membership of anyone whose presence negatively affects other members' experience at our events. Anyone who has been banned or has had their membership revoked and attempts to attend an event either by attending as another member's guest or without a proper RSVP may be asked to sit elsewhere if the event is held at a public venue or asked to leave if the meetup is a private event.

Table for 8 at Liuyishou Hotpot, an AYCE Chinese hot pot restaurant in Chinatown. The AYCE menu is $35.99/adult, with seniors 65+ priced at $29.99/person. The menu features dishes such as spicy chicken gizzards, pork kidneys, beef aorta, and quail eggs. You can also get pork tripe with chicken soup for your broth.

"Liuyishou is one of the many Chinese hot pot chains that have opened in Chicago recently. What we really like about this particular spot is that their Chongqing soup base is very spicy—to the point where servers warn every table. They’re not exaggerating. The cute bear-shaped broth block that melts into the pot is foreshadowing. But the non-spicy broths, like the wild mushroom, are also flavorful. Our strategy is to get a two-flavor pot and take turns cooking in both. The large dining room is pretty minimal, with TVs and booths good for groups of all sizes. Another thing we really like about Liuyishou? They have a robust condiment station with a bunch of dipping sauce recommendations. Plus, they have sweets like sesame balls, which make a fantastic snack when your mouth is numb."
