Agile in distributed teams

Agile in distributed teams
April meetup about 'distributed teams'! It's turned out to be a great program! Don't miss it.
Agenda
• Welcome by Forecast.it, ITU and #AgilityLab (Dennis Kayser, Paolo Tell, Morten Elvang)
• Experiences with working in distributed teams (Dennis Kayser). Dennis willl talk about work done with a large retail company on building their new e-commerce site using a combination of scrum (and waterfall) with a 300 man team distributed across 3 countries and timezones. Including some pointers on what to do and what not to do.
• Experiences with working in distributed teams (Ricardo Parro). Ricardo will show his perspective on how to build a successful online disruptive product using a Distributed Team (how to recruit ,manage and motivate).
• Agile in distributed teams: challenges and solutions (Rosalba Guiffrida). Rosalba will from a researchers perspective talk about how agile methodologies have been used - successfully and not successfully- in several industrial cases.
• Open space for discussion. We get organized after the presentations.
Each presentation is appr 30 minutes. We will have at least one break and there may be some refreshments. I heard some rumors about soft-drinks and pizza. Originally we planned for this to be at Dennis' place with Dennis as our host, so Dennis will also shortly introduce to forecast.it as part of the welcome.
Remember to tell your friends about this. We still have a few places left!
Welcome!
Br,
Morten
