Welcome MahJong Players,
We meet every Tuesday morning in a private home in downtown Palo Alto from 10AM to around 1:30PM. We play inside or outside depending on weather. There are 3 tables available for play and I have a few extra 2022 cards. When more than 4 players come, we rotate in, play three person MahJongg or Siamese.
Please RSVP for accurate headcount. Bring a snack to share (optional) and a MahJong set if you have one. Street parking available at 10am (after street cleaning). All day parking free with parking permit. There are free parking permits on front porch for loan to first 5 who arrive. Otherwise parking free for 2 hours in zone 1 and then you will need to move your car 1/2 block to zone 2.
Attendees know how to play. Please understand that every play in the game requires thought and immediate reevaluation from all players. If you are new to MahJong, we are happy to give you an overview of the game at another time. To prevent interfering with the flow of the game, we offer an overview from 9:00 - 10:00AM Tuesday mornings. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to schedule an overview.
