Hi everyone!
I’m Armandina Ramírez, a psychologist and founder of [Nutrimind.life](https://nutrimind.life), and I’m excited to welcome you to Amsterdam Mental Health!
This group is about creating a space where we can connect, share, and support each other to take care of our mental health. Life in Amsterdam can be beautiful but also full of challenges, especially when we are trying to find a balance between adapting to a new country, career pressures, social life and the stress of everyday life.
Why did I start this group?
I’ve always believed in the power of real, face-to-face connections. In a world where we spent so much of our time online, I wanted to create a community where we can meet in person, have meaningful conversations, and build connections that can inspire us.
Who is this group for?
Anyone who cares about their mental health and well-being! You can be an expat finding your way in a new city, a local who wants to connect with like-minded people, or someone curious about mental health, you’re welcome here :) You don’t need to be an expert—just come with an open mind and willingness to share and learn.
What can you expect?
We’ll host a variety of events, from casual meetups to talks and workshops focused on practical tools for managing stress, building resilience, and improving overall well-being. We want to create a supportive and inspiring community where we can all grow together.
I am really excited to meet you all and build this community together. Let’s make mental health a priority and have some fun along the way too!
See you soon!

Neurodivergence & Relationships: Different Ways of Connecting
Zoku Amsterdam, Weesperstraat 105, 1018 VN Amsterdam, Amsterdam, NLNeurodiversity refers to the natural differences in how human brains work, process information, and experience the world. There is no single “right” way for a brain to function — each person brings a unique way of thinking, feeling, learning, sensing, and communicating.
In relationships, these differences can shape how people connect, express emotions, handle conflict, and respond to each other’s needs. What may feel intuitive or easy for one person may feel overwhelming, confusing, or inaccessible for another — not because of lack of care, but because brains work differently.
This in-person meetup offers a reflective and non-judgmental space to explore how neurodivergence shows up in relationships, without labels being required and without framing anyone as the problem.
This is not couples therapy and not a diagnostic space.
It’s an opportunity to build understanding, language, and awareness around relational dynamicsWhat We’ll Explore:
✅ What neurodiversity means in the context of adult relationships
✅ How differences in cognition, attention, sensory processing, communication, and emotional regulation affect connection
✅ Common patterns of misunderstanding — and what helps reduce frustration and self-blameDetails You Need to Know:
