Recharge & Reflect: Conversations on “Action Item” 🎬✨
CoffeeCompany Van Wauw, Van Woustraat 153, 1073 LP, Amsterdam, NLBurnout prevention and recovery aren’t only about slowing down - they’re also about understanding the environments that shape us. Sometimes a film captures these dynamics so clearly that it opens up space for reflection, recognition, and honest conversation.
On Saturday, November 22nd, at 2 pm, we’ll meet at the Coffee Company Van Woustraat for a cozy coffee to discuss Action Item, the documentary by Paula Ďurinová screened at IDFA.
The film offers an intimate look into a small organization where blurred boundaries, rising pressure, and miscommunication slowly lead to collective exhaustion. It’s a relatable portrayal of how burnout can build within teams and systems, not just individuals - and how good intentions aren’t always enough to keep things balanced.
Some of us have already seen the movie, and some of us are going together on Tuesday evening at 7 pm. If you'd like to join the screening, feel free to reach out to me. You can purchase your ticket on the IDFA website.
You’re also warmly welcome to join the coffee even if you haven’t seen the film - whether you want to listen in, share your own burnout story, or simply be in community, there’s a place for you.

Recharge & Heal: Pranayama, Meditation & Yin Yoga Practice 🧘♀️✨
you can yoga, stadionweg 283, 1076 PA Amsterdam, Netherlands, amsterdam, NLBurnout prevention and recovery aren't just about pressing pause - it’s about returning to yourself. In a world that constantly pulls you in a thousand directions, the most radical act can be to slow down, breathe, and listen.
On November 25th, Tuesday at 4.15 pm, we'll come together in the You Can Yoga studio to dive into a journey of self-discovery and healing. Annalisa, the founder of The AcuFlow will help us reconnect with ourselves. Through guided breathing and meditation, we'll explore our feelings and intentions, unlocking the power within.
No prior experience in yoga or meditation is needed, and no need to bring a yoga mat - just an open mind and heart! ❤️
About the instructor
About 10 years ago, Annalisa hit burnout: unhealthy lifestyle, poor diet, too much alcohol, constant travel, no rest, and relentless work hours. Her body responded through her own weak point, the digestive system, and IBS became a major issue. Stress was the trigger, and while Western medicine eased symptoms, it never addressed the root cause, as she was constantly exhausted and in a bad mood. That’s when Annalisa turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Pranayama, Meditation, and Yoga. The transformation wasn’t instant, but extremely powerful and life-changing. The impact of these practices inspired her to study TCM and train as a Yoga Teacher. Today, she is healthy and fulfilled, teaching yoga and practicing acupuncture in Amsterdam. Grateful to the Universe, her teachers, and all the pain and discomfort that taught the biggest lessons!
