I have a pass that will let four of us into the museum for free. I haven't seen this exhibit, but if it's like most MCA stuff, it will be a mix of really cool and sincerely confusing. I like walking through the museum at least twice, give my brain a chance to process some of the weird.
Anthropology and Art are both ways of understanding people. Art is a discretionary use of resources, and it tells of the values, beliefs, perspectives of a group. A 6,000 year old pictograph in Utah or a current exhibit at the MCA, both tell us a story.
The light rail at Union Station is a couple blocks from the museum. Whole Foods has two hour validated parking with a $10 purchase. Not sure the other parking options in the area, the Rockies have a game in the afternoon.
If anyone wants to grab food after, there's several good options on 16th street. I stumbled across this while going to Illegal Pete's today and the menu looks interesting:
