Colorado Boy is a haunting and intimate theatrical work presented as part of the Roots and Routes Spring Season weekend, bringing a Denver Fringe Festival favorite into the Artists Amongst Us Salon experience. The piece traces Eric’s journey as he learns to navigate life while uncovering the realities of his mental illness, and the ways it shapes his relationships and perception of the world around him.

The show was written by Ronan Viard, and was inspired by the life story of his father, Franck Viard, who loved and supported this show, and is deeply missed.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Cash bar available. The production will be followed by a Q&A about art as a tool to build bridges and create a deeper understanding around the lived realities of mental illness.

Dj Buddy Bravo is an accomplished dance Dj and musician who was awarded Colorado Dj of The Year at the 2025 & 2026 Colorado D.I.V.A Awards. He serves as resident DJ at Bao Brewhouse, X-Bar, and Champagne Tiger.

Sister Judy is a dynamic collaboration between longtime Denver Dj, DJ Markie and electronic guitarist, 37 Frets. On their own, these two are phenomenal performers and together is an experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen in the club. With dance music and electronic rock flair, these two remix your favorite songs in new ways.

Whether you attended the full weekend or are simply joining us for the party, this is your invitation to celebrate creativity, meet new people, and dance late into the night with some of Denver’s hottest dj’s and most creative crowd.

Immigrant Voices Salon

Part of the Artists Amongst Us Social Justice & Art Salon Series

What does it mean to create art shaped by movement across borders, languages, and identities?
The Immigrant Voices Salon brings together five immigrant artists who will share work rooted in their lived experiences. Through storytelling, live music, singing, spoken word and dance - each artist explores how migration has shaped their creative voice - and how memory, place, language and family continue to live in their art.

From the sounds of childhood streets to the discovery of a new culture, from displacement to reinvention - this salon centers on the intimate ways in which geography, culture, and identity inform artistic creation.
Each artist will present a short piece, offering the audience a rare and personal window into the intersection of immigration and creativity.

The evening will conclude with a moderated Q&A, inviting dialogue, reflection, and connection between artists and audience.
