What we're about

We are the Denver Chapter of the American Singles Golf Association (ASGA). We are a group of singles who like to golf. We get together and golf/socialize in the Denver area.

We are part of American Singles Golf Association ( (http://Denver.SinglesGolf.com)http://Denver.SinglesGolf.com (http://Denver.SinglesGolf.com)) - a group of chapters throughout the United States composed of real people you meet face-to-face. Chapters hold general membership meetings/socials once a month and play golf as a group. Many social-only events are also held throughout the year.

You are able to play one golf event with us without joining our national organization as a dues-paying member. To continue to play golf in our organization you must join at www.singlesgolf.com.

Meeting others through golf is one of the best ways to begin any relationship, business or personal. Most importantly, we are all about having FUN! There's nothing like a group of friends getting together for a great round of golf and share a meal. It's just a great way to spend your time.

Please note - it is not permitted for anyone to promote non-ASGA sanctioned events or solicit to our MeetUp members. If in doubt or for questions, please contact our leadership team through this site.

The COVID-19 Virus has caused many events to make changes and this golf tournament one of them. Originally scheduled for a week later and a full slate of golf with fans and such, it has been reduced in scope. Homestead FAC!

The Homestead Golf Course

We're going to head over to Homestead GC on Friday, July 3rd to ring in the Independence weekend. I have 10 tee times starting at 4pm and we'll be playing just 9 holes. The cost is $21 to walk and $31 to ride and you will pay at the course the day of the event. Because of our limited slots available, you must be an ASGA member to attend...sorry. Again, if you sign up and don't show up, you will not be able to attend any other FAC's the rest of the year so if you sign up and then can't attend, please change your RSVP to make room for another member. Thanks!

The Club at Pradera Monday Funday!!

The Club At Pradera

Who wants to check out one of Colorado's newest private golf courses? How about joining us at The Club at Pradera in Parker for an incredible day of golf on Monday, July 13th. I've set up tee times starting at 1pm where we'll play 18 holes and the cost is only $68 and that includes your fee for 18 holes, cart and range balls. It's a small price to pay compared to the price of membership so come on out and let's check it out together. Again, you must be a member of the ASGA to participate and as of now, I will be assigning single rider carts but limited to 64 carts so you can do the math. ASGA COVID 19 GUIDELINES -First…if you are feeling sick or show any symptoms, PLEASE Stay at Home! -Per the request of our Governor and the CDC, please wear a mask while inside any golf facilities. -Please don’t congregate as groups before, during or after your round of golf to maintain social distancing. -Frequent hand washing is advised and bring your own hand sanitizer. -Do not shake hands when introducing yourself to other group members, a wave is just as good. -Golfers should adhere to a 6’ social distancing while playing at all times. -Do not pick up your playing partners clubs or balls during the course of play and I would discourage picking up found golf balls on the course. -Hands off the flagsticks and rakes, use a good old fashion foot rake if necessary. -Birdie celebrations will have to get more creative…do not high five at this time and it goes without saying to bring your own birdie bottle. -When you finish your round, forego the traditional handshake. We’re a fan of the putter salute. -Please wash your hands before you leave the club. -We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times. Take care, stay healthy and we’ll see you at the next ASGA event. Joining our Meetup site is just a precursor to joining the ASGA. Our golfing activities require that after playing one event without belonging, to continue you must join the American Singles Golf Association (http://www.singlesgolf.com/denver). Some general comments concerning our golf outings. 1. Until you actually pay for an event you are NOT registered. You are just on the list that you intend to play. 2. Please wear the proper golf attire to all our events. 3. Keep up with the pace of play. 4. Beginning golfers, consider playing some of the forward tees. 5. Ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to event tee time. 6. Please answer the questions when registering for each golf event. It helps in organizing the events. Please avoid slow play, keep up with the group in front of you. The course marshals will ask your group to speed up, skip next hole or terminate your round of golf if you don't. Ways to do this can be: 1. Play best ball for a few holes. 2. If you hit your ball into the rough, don't look the 5 minutes, just call it lost and drop near the lost area (if you haven't hit a provisional) 3. If you are at stroke 6 and still not on the green. Pick up your ball and drop it on the green and putt out. Most important have fun! You can pay online with PayPal through the Meetup Registration.
