What we’re about
Ever feel like life didn’t turn out how you thought it would — and now you’re ready to do something about it?
🌀 You're not broken. You're becoming.
The Midlife Reinvention Community supports growth-minded individuals rebuilding after divorce, job changes, or life shake‑ups. It’s a place to live more authentically, joyfully, and intentionally — together, with clarity and courage.
### 👥 Who’s it for?
Men and women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s seeking meaningful midlife connection.
A quick note on connection:
Women often build supportive social networks more naturally — but that doesn’t mean they’re immune to loneliness, especially during major life transitions. Meanwhile, social isolation among men is quietly rising:
🔹 Only ~27% of men in the U.S. say they have at least six close friends (down from ~55% in the 1990s)
🔹 About 15% report having no close friends at all
🧠 Loneliness in men has been linked to higher risks of depression, heart disease, and other health challenges.
This community exists to change that — for all of us. Whether you're feeling disconnected or just craving more real conversation, you're welcome here.
### 📍 Based in Northern VA
We host relaxed, low‑cost events—walks, dinners, coffee chats, and seasonal gatherings. A few virtual meetups are also offered for those joining from farther away or needing more flexibility.
💬 Why an event fee?
A small fee helps keep the group sustainable as we grow and offer more seasonal events year-round. It also encourages thoughtful participation — people who sign up are more likely to genuinely show up.
That said, after you’ve joined a few events, you’re welcome to attend some future ones as my guest — no fee at all. This is about building a meaningful community.
