Because our theist friends don't have a copyright on solstice celebrations and the warmth of holiday reunions. This would be a great time for some of the stalwarts of the old pre-pandemic group to reappear and renew acquaintances and greet our charming noobs. (Lookin' at you, Ben, Deb, Mike and Ken.)
The drill is the same. The bar gathering begins at five and we'll look to sit down sometime between six and 6:30. Don't sweat the times too much. They're suggestions, so you can arrive when you can. We'll order from the menu and have a grand old time. Santa hats and other foolish apparel will be cheerfully tolerated and may prove a source of amusement. There's street parking and a small lot for Druthers customers just north of the place on Broadway. Bring an Atheist-curious friend; the more the "merrier."
If you're a noob, great! Look for me at the bar. I'll be the guy in the gray "Born Again Atheist" baseball cap.
