Decentralizing Fiat-to-Bitcoin: tbDEX Protocol Reading Group
Details
š Atlanta BitDevs' reading groups are small sessions where we focus on a specific topic within Bitcoin development and help each other understand it through discussion.
In this session, we will pick up where we left off last week with tbDex. We will discuss pages 9 - 18 of the tbDEX whitepaper. Alex Lewin and Brian Nonni will lead us in this discussion.
Background: last year, a division of Block (formerly Square) known as TBD54566975 released a whitepaper for a protocol called tbDEX. The goal seems to be to create a decentralized way of exchanging fiat for bitcoin, and vice-versa. They launched the whitepaper outlining the protocol in a blog post in November 2021.

šØ Atlanta BitDevs is a community focused on the development of Bitcoin and related protocols. Our meetup groups are great places to learn if you are interested in working on Bitcoin. Everyone is welcome, but keep in mind that discussions will be very technical! If you are interested in less developer-focused events and just want to learn about Bitcoin in general, we recommend our sister-group Atlanta BitPlebs: https://www.meetup.com/atlanta-bitplebs/
