Sarina Shrestha was born into the world of sound healing and has been surrounded by its energy her entire life. The daughter of Suren and Ruby Shrestha, she grew up learning the power of vibration and holistic wellness. Sarina has just graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Psychology and Business while also working with her family’s business, Now n Zen, to develop, expand, and diversify a business that sells holistic tools to the world. As she continues to learn and grow as a Atma Buti sound and vibrational therapy practitioner, Sarina is excited to share her healing gifts in a special concert to benefit Soul Medicine, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to wellness and healing.
Join Sarina Shrestha as she leads the Friend’s of Atma Buti sound bath relaxation accompanied by Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, bells and more. Integrate the vibration of Himalayan sound healing at our Atma Buti School.
Please bring a blanket or pillow for your comfort. Yoga mats will be provided.
Doors will open at 6:45 pm.
Proceeds from all concerts will benefit the Soul Medicine 501c3 orphanage foundation of Nepal.

Learn to Heal with the Singing Bowls Certification Courses Level 1

Level 1 Sound Healing Course is designed as an introduction to the practice of sound therapy. In this course, you will explore the background into Himalayan Singing bowls. You will discover the use of the bowls in sound therapy. You will also have the opportunity to explore using the bowls according to the Himalayan and Vedic Chakra systems. The use of other sound instruments such as the Tingsha will be demonstrated and practiced. The overall goal of this introductory course is to give you the ability to use vibrational healing modalities with clients in a supportive and therapeutic manner.

How to Heal with Singing Bowls – Level 2 with Maria Pertile (2 Days)

Level 2 – Himalayan Chakra Singing Bowl Therapy Techniques with Maria Pertile (Using Seven Bowl Therapy Techniques)

Cost: $999 (Includes Tuition & Manual. Lunch is not included!)

Prerequisites: Students wishing to take Level 2 must have previously completed Level 1.

In the Level 2 Sound Healing Course we will explore traditional Chakra Bowl Healing techniques using 4, 7, 8 and tranquility bowls in a therapeutic setting. In this course, we will expand upon the skills you have begun to acquire from Level 1. We will explore the Chakra system in greater detail and music theory will be discussed as we explore the concept of the Cycle of Fifths in relationship to the use of the 7 singing bowls. We will practice the series of 7 bowls and lay them out according to the Chakra system of the body. Bowls will be placed around and on the body. Mantras and chants will be practiced to correspond to the sound vibrational frequencies associated with each Chakra. With our intention and reverence for the life of all sentient beings, we will discuss and practice creating a sacred space for those receiving this vibrational therapy. We will explore the topic of puja and how offerings and space clearing can be performed with the singing bowl or bell. We will also discuss techniques and methods regarding how to conduct a sound healing meditation concert.

Handpan Playing for Sound Healers with Oscar Cordero

This Handpan Playing for Sound Healers Workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the handpan, and is designed to immerse participants in the enchanting world of this unique instrument. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some musical experience, this workshop will provide you with the tools and knowledge to start your handpan journey. Students will learn the therapeutic aspects of the Handpan, blending technical instruction with a focus on mindfulness and self-expression.
The handpan is a profound resonance instrument that can serve to subtly complement sound therapy sessions. Students learn to integrate the instrument as an organic extension of their Sound Healing practice, utilizing its vibration to facilitate spaces of meditation, presence, and a genuine connection to inner well-being.
The workshop will start with a discussion of Body percussion dynamics and vocal resonance to release the expressive channel and build somatic confidence. Next, Structure & Touch will be covered with an analysis of the “Ding,” tonal fields, and “Rebound” technique training for effective vibrational penetration without dampening the natural sustain.
Learning different rythms and sequences will be practiced. Using dynamic intensity control as a tool for emotional accentuation and guiding the sound journey will be explored. There will be integration creating sonic bridges with Himalayan bowls while maintaining a state of calm and relaxation. Therapeutic listening practices where sound is an extension of the practitioner’s internal peace.
Finally a collaborative practice (Jamming) and instrument maintenance protocols to preserve tonal purity will be presented.
About Oscar Cordero
Oscar Cordero is the founder of Handpan Sessions Costa Rica, where he shares the handpan as both a musical instrument and a vehicle for wellbeing. His journey into this world began after a long career in finance, when meditation and sound therapy became essential tools in navigating stress and anxiety. In 2021, during a life-changing trip to Guatemala, he discovered the handpan and felt an immediate connection to its sound — a connection that would reshape his path completely.
Since then, Oscar has devoted himself to studying, practicing, and sharing the transformative potential of sound. His approach is intuitive yet grounded, weaving together musicality, presence, and therapeutic intention. Whether through workshops, performances, or sound experiences, he creates spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience the depth of vibration and music.
