You have played your ace-point game, you got a shot, you hit the blot, you built a prime and you have closed your Board. Your opponent is dancing. Now what?

You should redouble when you have borne off 5 fewer checkers than your opponent.

If you are behind in the race , you may have to expose blots as you try to bear off quickly.
