What we’re about
Formed several years ago by a handful of wonderful women who were craving real and authentic friendship, connection and women's wisdom in their lives, this group has become a special place of sharing and support for women from all around Auckland.
Recognising the important planetary times we are in, as women we honour the call to awaken and walk a conscious path. And so at the end of 2018 our new name, Women's Consciousness Circle, came about to better reflect what was important to both the women who are part of, and the women who "hold the space" for this group as well as our collective path as women.
Learning and practicing ways that we can develop personally, live consciously and be more aware and connected are the focus for the meetups.
Every meetup will be different (and is always an amazing co-creation between those who facilitate and those who participate!). There is always warmth and acceptance of every woman within the circle, and an honouring of who you are and whatever your life experience has been.
We have had (and continue to enjoy) a veritable smorgasbord of topics and themes and we often invite guest facilitators who offer new ideas and means to open doorways to the divinity of your inner-self.
We practice and wholeheartedly encourage conscious communication, acceptance, self-empowerment and self-responsibility at our meetings, throughout our opening and meditation, sharing circle and discussions. It's a very special experience to be part of a space where no advice is given, where all your words are respected, and your inner wisdom unquestioned no matter your age.
