π€ About the Artists
Colin MacLeod is the founder of the School of Celtic Fiddle Mastery, and a lifelong advocate of learning music by ear, community connection, and cultural heritage.
Margaret Coltman is a freelance cellist, educator, tenured member of the Austin Symphony Orchestra and has many strings to her bow!
Margaret and Colin met in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2024 just before Margaret was returning to Austin and have reconnected, through Colin's connection with the Salado Highland Games.
With deep roots in both Scotland and Texas, come along to enjoy a fun filled afternoon with music & stories from Scotland from the 1700s & 1800s and find out about the influential fiddle & cello players of that time.
