If you don't have a D whistle they are availible at Things Celtic and Fiddlers Green. Learning is by repetition mostly. We start with a very easy tune and gradually go up in difficulty at each student's pace. Come and make music!

  • Stone Soup Session

    The Stone Soup Session happens the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 2-5pm Each musician in turn chooses what to play and whether it will be a solo or group selection. All styles and genres of traditional folk music are included in the event which is free and open to the public. The Stone Soup Session is a collaboration between the Austin Friends of Traditional Music and the Texas Music Museum with the kind cooperation of the East Austin Economic Development Corporation.
