• We Dig Crafts

    The Dig Pub

Craft with Craft. Bring the portable CRAFT of your choice and enjoy it alongside CRAFT beer (or whatever) and friendly faces sporting crafty wit*. We're pretty darn fun. For reals, we knit in a bar, so we are nothing like your mama's stitch & bitch. Knit, Crochet, Cross stitch, or craft whatever lap work you are into at the moment. The lighting is pretty good. Still, you might want to bring an easy project as a backup...because we do craft in a bar! The Dig Pub, a 21+up bar, has a fantastic craft beer selection, a good wine list, sodas, and tea. They also have a great menu if you want to have dinner. Many Wednesdays are Pint Night where if you try the featured beer, you get to keep a glass. Happy Hour goes until 7pm, so we'll start a tiny bit before at 6:50pm. Someone is usually there until 10pm. We crochet in a bar! Please RSVP if you can make it. Regulars, please RSVP "no" if you know you can not make it. We'll meet if we have four or more. RSVPs are only open until the afternoon of the event, so everyone can plan their evenings. One more thing, because we... (say it with us...) "knit in a bar" (* great job * !)... we are not the best group for teaching. If you have learned elsewhere and come to us with specific questions, we might be able to help. If you are brand new to one of the crafts, we recommend you find a class at your local yarn shop. *We So Punny!

    The Steeping Room

The Steeping Room allows a maximum reservation of 8. If we go over 8 guests, the late-comers will not necessarily be seated with the larger group. A waiting list will be created if necessary. Please make sure that your RSVP is correct by 11:00am on Wednesday morning. We enjoy everyone participating in this group. We have limited the number of people at this meetup because of the size of the restaurant, and we need 100% commitment from everyone who RSVP's. If you RSVP and then your plans change, please change your status asap. If you have any questions, please contact Johanna Staples, the organizer, directly. Tell the wait staff you are part of the Wednesday night knitting group if you are unsure.
