join us for our first AWS User Group Cologne in 2025!

The meetup will be held on Tuesdays, January 21st, 2025, at 6:00 pm / 18:00 CET and is presented and hosted by adesso SE.

AWS re:invent is a full week of excitement, learning, announcements and fun! With the re:Invent re:Cap we want to bring the excitement and the most important announcements to the AWS User Group Cologne.

Markus Ostertag is an AWS user since 2008 and an AWS Hero since 2016. He founded the AWS User Group Munich in 2014 (is organizing it since then) and he is also a founding member of the Förderverein AWS Community DACH e.V. where he currently is the Vice Chairman. He is a well-known speaker in the AWS Community and frequently speaks at meetups, AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent and AWS Community Days.

Viktor Vedmich : reCap reInvent 2024
In the AWS world there is no other event as important as AWS re:Invent in fabulous Las Vegas! Hundreds of announcements, so much excitement and a motivation booster for the upcoming year - everything packed in just one single week.

Viktor Vedmich, a Munich-based specialist in Kubernetes and cloud technologies - especially AWS, began his tech journey in 2009, transitioning to Systems Engineering by 2011. With experience managing large-scale systems serving 10 million users and expertise in CI/CD pipelines, he currently serves as a Senior Developer Advocate at AWS, shares knowledge through public speaking, and hosts the 'DevOps Kitchen Talks' podcast.
