We will walk along the banks of the inner moat with take us to temples and shrines. We are expecting to visit;
- Pakklong Talat the old flower market
- King Rama 1 monument as the memorial of the first king of Krung Rattanakosin
- Wat Ratchaburana Ratchaworawihan is a second class temple in Maha Nigaya sect of Buddhism, The temple was built in the late Ayuthaya by wealthy Chinese merchant named "Liap" The most outstanding building of this temple is the prang (Khmer-style pagoda), which was built in the reign of King Rama 3 and restored in the 1962.
- The golden mountain and Wat Saket
- Bann Bath where they are making the monk alm bowl.
- Wat Ratchaparadit was designated a first-class royal monastery in 1915, making it one of the most significant temples in Thailad.
- Wat Dibaya wari (Vietnamese Temple) also known as Wat Thipwariwihanor locally as the green dragon temple is a Buddhist Chinese temple in the old city area Ban Mo community. Built in the Thonburi era of King Taksin, its an important temple for the Chinese community residing in the area.
- We will finish the walk at klong sansap ferry at Panfa bridge.
As usual please bring 300 THB for your tour guide. The refreshments along the route can be paid individually, as you see fit (some people might not wish to sample all of them, even though they are really delicious). And as with every other previous walk, we would like to ask to PLEASE leave home on time. When that should be, depends on where you live, but unless you live nearby, we suggest leaving AT LEAST an hour beforehand. The guide can wait for 5 minutes but then the group will leave. Also, kindly RSVP no later than 7pm the day before.
