Wuttakart to Talat Plu (Thonburi China Town)

This week we will walk along quiet stretch of canalbank contains remnants of Thonburi’s original communities along with temples and shrine. This trip we will walk along the qiet and peaceful canal and explore the places such as;
-Wat Nangchee the third class royal temple which was built during Ayuthaya period and reconstructed in Rama 3 reign.
-Wat Nakprok the Chinese style temple where the merchant chinese dedicated to his wife.
-Wat Upsorn, the temple was built in the Ayutthaya period, formerly known as Wat Mu, and it is said that Chinese Wu was the one who built on the land that had been used to raise pigs before it was completed. The villagers therefore called Wat Moo later.

By the end of the walk, we might have some foods at Talat Phlu Market where is the oldest of the Thonburi Chinese community. There are plenty of delicious food such as Por Pia Sod, Crispy noodles since Rama 5, hard egg ice cream etc ...
