Ride the train to Nakorn Prathom

Another fun trip out of Bangkok, this time we will take a train from Hualumpong to Nakorn prathom. We will get off at Sanamchan station. Then we will visit interesting places such as

• Nakorn Prathom youth animal zoo
  -Wat Phra Ngam or Wat Sodaputtharam is another temple with an important ancient site inside, called "Neun Wat Phra Ngam", where a large chedi from the Dvaravati period was discovered, as well as various ancient objects such as a broken stone Buddha image, a Dharmachakra Sema, a kneeling deer, a bronze Buddha image, and a clay Buddha image. The excavated ancient objects were all ancient objects from the Dvaravati period, which is the same period as the objects discovered at Phra Pathom Chedi. His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab explained that the temple was called Wat Phra Ngam because the clay Buddha images excavated from the temple area were extremely beautiful.

As always, please bring 350 THB for your tour guide and all transportation costs. Personal shopping isn’t included. And as with every other previous walk, we would like to ask to PLEASE leave home on time. When that should be, depends on where you live, but unless you live nearby, we suggest leaving AT LEAST an hour beforehand. The guide can wait for 5-10minutes but then the group will leave.
