This Saturday we will be reading and discussing chapter 15 of John. John's gospel is unique because it is written about 50 years after Jesus' ministry, and his purpose in writing is to challenge those who claimed that Jesus could not both be the Son of God and be in human form. John records many of Jesus' teachings and records events that proved He was the Son of God who had come 'in the flesh.' A quote from John 20:30-31:
"Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."
Come join us as we discover for ourselves what John's gospel teaches us about Jesus, so that we can all find life through Him.
