Our club is all about embracing a healthy lifestyle, nurturing a positive mindset, and reveling in the beauty of nature. If you're someone who enjoys Green Exercise outdoor workouts, and can hike/walk 5-8 miles without health issues (do consult your personal physician), we invite you to join us.

Mental health prescription: Nature
Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor.

This segment of the CA Coastal Trail runs parallel to the Pacific Coast along what used to be the Ocean Shore Railroad. The railroad itself was in operation for just 15 years before it was driven out of business in the early 1920s by the automobile.
It's truly a destination trail. It offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, access to several beaches and excellent nature viewing. Bird watching is quite good and a popular activity here. Red-tailed hawks, blue herons and red-winged blackbirds are spotted frequently, and large hawks can often be seen perched on benches and the trail's split-rail fence. Half Moon Bay State Beach is also home of the world-famous Mavericks, a surfing spot Pillar Point that's visible from the trail.

Rodeo beach costal trailhead , Parking Lot, Fort Cronkhite, 11050 Mitchell Rd, Mill Valley, CA 94941,, Mill valley, CA, USHello Ocean Lovers, Let's meet up go for a Green Exercise Wellness Hike at Rodeo Beach, Coastal Trail, and Miwok Trail enjoy Ocean air and Healing Sea for our physical Health and Mental Well-beingš
The Rodeo Beach, Coastal Trail, and Miwok Trail loop leaves near Rodeo Beach and follows a fairly developed route along the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean. It takes a couple small detours to Battery Townsley and to Hill 88, the former launch site for Cold War missiles, then returns to the parking area just past the Marin Headlands Visitor Center on Mitchell Road (Bunker Road). It briefly travels along Wolf Ridge Trail on the north side just after Hill 88
Hike to the top of this abandoned military base for views of the coastline and rolling hills.
Hill 88
This is one of the more scenic hikes in the Marin Headlands. It features an old paved road with some great ocean views and some old coastal defenses.Hill 88 played an important role during the Cold War. It served as a radar station for the Nike missile launch area SF-88L. This meant that all of the radar equipment associated with SF-88L was housed on top of Hill 88, which was called the Integrated Fire Control (IFC) site at the time. There were large domes that sheltered various radar equipment, including a HIPAR (High Power Acquisition Radar), TTR (target-tracking radar), TRR (target-ranging radar) and MTR (missile-tracking radars). In other words, IFC crewmen used radar to detect incoming threats from this site. In the event of a Nike missile launch, they would have also steered and tracked the deployed missile from Hill 88. They operated out of mobile vans that were once parked on top of Hill 88, but have since been moved to the launch area. Today, you can view the radar equipment at the Nike Missile Site. Otherwise, hike to the top of Hill 88 to see the remnants of the buildings that once constituted the IFC area and contemplate the significant role the Nike program played in our society and history.
Enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding landscape, including Tennessee Valley, Rodeo Lagoon, and Rodeo Beach. Although steep with some stairs, this hike is worth the effort.

Vasona Lake County Park and the Los Gatos Creek Parkway. The 152-acre park and connecting parkway are Santa Clara County's most popular regional park and recreation areas.
Oak Meadow Park The gem of the Los Gatos parks, Oak Meadow Park is centrally located. A large 12 acre park featuring:
- Access to Vasona County Park and the Los Gatos Creek Trail
- BBQ and picnic facilities
- Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad

Castle Rock State Park is a 5,242-acre state park of California, United States, located along the crest of the Santa Cruz Mountains and almost entirely in Santa Cruz County, with parts extending into Santa Clara County and San Mateo County.
