Evening Dharma Talks with Master YongHua in San Francisco — FoQi & ChanQi
Details
During intensive periods of practice such as FoQi and ChanQi, it is very common to have questions, doubts, and face challenges. These moments are not signs of failure, but natural stages of deeper cultivation. For this reason, having access to an experienced Buddhist Master can make a huge difference in one’s progress.
Throughout FoQi (Saturday, December 27, 2025 – Friday, January 2, 2026), a week-long retreat focused on reciting Amitabha Buddha’s name, and ChanQi (Sunday, January 4 – Friday, February 6, 2026), an extended period of intensive Chan meditation, Master YongHua will offer evening Dharma talks to support practitioners.
These talks take place daily from 7:20 pm to approximately 9:00 pm PDT and include meditation instructions, practical explanations, and responses to questions that naturally arise during sustained meditation and recitation. They are designed to help unblock difficulties, deepen understanding, and allow the practice to mature more smoothly.
Participants may attend the talks at either location:
• Dharma Treasury Temple — 3201 Ulloa Street, San Francisco, CA
• Gold Forest Chan Meditation Center — 796 Delmas Avenue, San Jose, CA
These evening Dharma talks are especially meaningful for those seeking clarity, grounded wisdom, and steady progress in their practice—values deeply resonant with the Bay Area community.
