Golden Gate Park – Saturday, July 26 (3:30 Arrival time)
Pickleball: 4:00–6:00 PM | Picnic: 6:00 PM ‘til the laughter fades

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of pickleball and a potluck picnic at Golden Gate Park’s gorgeous new Goldman Tennis Center! For the same cost as one of our Sisterhood Happy Hours, you'll leave this event really knowing how to play! 👏 Cheeeeers to that! 🥂

New to pickleball? Perfect! Gabriela will guide us through the basics to start, followed by casual play until 6 PM. No stress, no fierce competition—just a supportive space to learn and laugh together. Already love the game? Come play and help the newbies find their groove.

🕞 Please arrive by 3:30 PM
We’ll start promptly at 4:00. You’ll have time to check in, get your paddle, and warm up. You can also drop off your potluck items in the Tennis Center’s fridge before we hit the courts.

🎟 Cost: $8 paid in advance to Gabriela, + $5 if you want to rent a paddle (paid at the front desk when you check in)
Your $8 payment covers court rental, We’re aiming for 16–20 women to keep the event fun and affordable. RSVP TODAY—Spots are going fast!

To reserve your spot, please:

1. Add yourself to the Waitlist
2. Send payment via Venmo (@Gabriela-Pina) or Zelle (415-987-9507 – Maria Piña)
3. Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll be moved to the “Going” list.

⛔ Because our total cost is shared among the group, we’re unable to offer refunds if plans change. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to find someone to take your spot and let Gabriela know.

🧺 Picnic at 6:00 PM – Conservatory of Flowers
After we play, we’ll gather nearby for a potluck picnic. If it’s chilly, we’ll cozy up indoors at the Tennis Center. Please bring:

• A picnic blanket
• Food and/or drinks to share (Drop in the comments what you're bringing)
• A jacket and a hat for warmth if we are outdoors (It's SF in the summer!)
• Your sunny self! 😎

A refrigerator is available to store your food during play. Vending machine snacks and drinks also available.

Not playing? No problem!
You’re welcome to come cheer us on or just join the picnic after 6 pm. No charge. Just text Gabriela or comment to let us know, and we’ll add you to the “Going” list.

👟 What to Wear:
Comfy athletic gear: shorts, tennis/yoga outfits, or leggings; supportive sport shoes (no sandals or street shoes); hat or visor recommended.

🧴 What to Bring:
Water, sunscreen, picnic blanket, and potluck goodies, and cash if you'd like to purchase from the vending machines at the Tennis Center.

🚗 Parking/Transportation:
Allow extra time—Saturdays are busy in the park and it will be SF Marathon weekend, so there may be unexpected road closures to get around.
SF Marathon Traffic Information and map. Street parking is available on Nancy Pelosi Drive and Bowling Green Drive. Carpooling is great if you can swing it. Prefer a garage? See the map below for options (look for the red-circled “P”).

We rely on annual member donations to cover Meetup fees and occasional venue rentals. If you haven’t donated in 2025, please consider a $10–$20 cash contribution (with your name) given directly to the event host. New? Enjoy a couple of events first — then pitch in if it feels like a good fit!
