We’ll make a full day of it—starting with a fun pre-sail party, then an unforgettable sail on the Bay, and finally dinner nearby. Don’t miss this tradition!

🥂 PRE-SAIL PARTY AT PIER 39 (Optional)

• When: Sunday, August 31 • 10:30 am
• Where: Near Pier 39 entrance, on the grass. Look for our green sparkling streamers to know you are in the right place!
• Details: RSVP on our separate Pier 39 Fun + Pre-Sail Party event page so we can save you a spot. It's a potluck picnic.

🌊 CATAMARAN SAIL ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY

• Boarding: 3:00 pm sharp at Pier 39 (near the sea lions—you’ll hear them!) J Dock - See the Map with every location for the day. Snap a photo and save it to your phone for quick reference.
• Sail Time: 3:30–5:00pm (1.5 hours, there's a bathroom on board!)

⚠️ Important: It’s Labor Day weekend + Sunday = crowded!
Street parking is free but very limited. (See more parking info below.) Leave plenty of time—people have missed the boat in past years. Don’t let that be YOU!

🍽️ DINNER AFTER SAILING (Optional)
For hungry sailors and those who want to keep the fun going!

• Boudin Bakery – by Fisherman’s Wharf, 6 minutes’ walk from Pier 39.
• Tasty continental and seafood options, the best Sourdough bread 🥖 big menu (11 pages!), casual outdoor patio, no reservations needed.
• Separate checks = easy for everyone.

• Discounted Pier 39 Garage Deal: $30 all-day pass (vs. $12/hr weekends. Yikes! 😬)
• MUST Purchase Parking Pass online in advance (limited supply).
• Select Sunday, August 31, and enter 7:00am–11:00pm to be safe.
• Other Parking Options: Check apps like SpotHero for nearby deals.
• Carpool: Please add your name and location to the Comments and whether you'd like to ride or drive (and how many seats you are offering). If you are riding, please help your driver with gas and parking costs.
• Public Transit: Take BART to Embarcadero Station and walk or transfer to Muni/F-line.
