What we’re about
A new group featuring a skill share, music workshop and performance series for feminists and queers of all types who make music and want to trade skills! This series draws inspiration from and is sisters with Berlin's *Queer Feminist Music Gathering.
SKILLS can include:
- Instrument clinics (e.g. drummers, vocalists)
-Recording and mixing using Ableton/Logic/Audacity pick your DAW
-How to make songs from your band's jam sessions
-Picking and using your favorite pedals / sound effects
-Finding and editing synth patches, the wonders of the MicroKorg and other toys
-Take creative risks: present a song you're working on to solicit feedback from the group
Takes place at various locations in SF and East Bay, including Secret Studios at 2200 Cesar Chavez in SF.
