2nd Annual Great Caltrain Beer Crawl
Hey Folks, The weather is here and last year's beer crawl was epic! We'll first stop by Victory Hall & Parlor (Fried Chicken!) at noon, less than a block from the 4th and King Caltrain station. It's $21 for a Zone 4 day pass on Caltrain. We'll be hopping on and off the train several times so the day pass will be the cheapest option. ***NOTE: Drinking is allowed on Caltrain before 9pm, you CAN drink after 9pm, just don't be problematic*** I'll be bringing some bottles and/or cans to share on the train, please do the same if you wanna! Next, we'll head down to San Jose and work our way back up: San Jose - Floodcraft Brewing Company at Whole Foods (http://floodcraftbrewing.com/) **The distance here is pretty close (one stop), so depending on the train schedule we can opt to take multiple taxis** Santa Clara – Taplands (http://www.taplands.com/) Sunnyvale - River Rock Taproom (http://riverrocktaproom.com/) Palo Alto – Dan Gordon's (https://dangordons.com/) or The Tap Room Redwood City - Gourmet Haus Staudt (www.gourmethausstaudt.com/) San Carlos – Blue Oak Brewing Company (https://www.blueoakbrewing.com/) + Ale Arsenal (http://www.alearsenal.com/) San Mateo – Grape & Grain (http://www.grapeandgrainbar.com/) **Not putting up estimated times since this will rely heavily on Train schedules; stick with me if you want to stay on track, I'll post when we arrive as each spot** We'll start in the south and work our way back since we don't want any of our SF and East Bay folks to be stuck too far south of Millbrae Station (BART), the drunker you get, the closer you are to home Please Tip Your Bartenders!! How you can help support Bay Area Beer Socials. https://www.meetup.com/bayareabeersocials/pages/24195797/How_to_support_Bay_Area_Beer_Socials/
