Windrider Film Forum Day 1 - Skid Row Marathon
Every year the Windrider organization picks remarkable films for their film forum, and this year is no exception. The screening is followed by a Q&A conversation with Mark Hayes, Filmmaker; Gabi Hayes, Producer; and Judge Craig Mitchell & Rafael Cabrera, subjects from the film - along with a reception in the lobby with local non-profits helping people who are homeless, addicted, and ex-incarcerated. Tickets are available here: Skid Row Marathon When a criminal court judge starts a running club on LA’s notorious skid row and begins training a motley group of addicts and criminals to run marathons, lives begin to change. SKID ROW MARATHON follows four runners as they rise from the mean streets of LA to run marathons around the world, fighting the pull of homelessness and addiction at every turn. Their story is one of hope, friendship, and dignity.

What we're about

If you're interested in meeting up occasionally to see a film, mostly independent and sometimes not, and also meet some cool people, then this is the meetup for you. We usually stick to theaters around Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Redwood City. We also meet for coffee or dinner, before or after depending on the movie time.

Please check out our "About (" page to learn more about the group.

Hope to see you soon!
